Erika's passion for singing began at a very early age, where her singing career blossomed in the local church choir. As a child she would visit sick children in hospitals bringing joyous songs and gifts to brighten their days. She was involved in many school and local musicals and was selected to participate in the Honors Choir. At the age of ten, she entered her first talent show and won first place as a solo vocalist. From there, she has won many talent shows in her community.

In her early teens, she sang with an all female Pop/R&B quintet. After several months of writing and recording music, Erika knew this was something she wanted to pursue full-time. Erika finds joy in writing her own lyrics which allows her to express herself, while tapping into the audience’s emotions. At the age of fifteen, she was voted best female vocalist in her high school.

As a solo artist, Erika is training under the direction of Sal Dupree. Voted vocal coach of the year, Sal Dupree was also the vocal coach for the 2006 America’s Got Talent “million dollar winner” Bianca Ryan so Erika is well on her path to stardom. Don’t let Erika’s petite build fool you; her large voice shocks audiences everywhere. With over ten years of experience in Hip-Hop, Jazz, African and Modern Dance, Erika's dancing ability adds spice to her performance. Her dancing ability combined with her singing and acting sweetens the package for this young entertainer.
